Obviously, Brawl is a fun game, but it's really only good when you have people in the same room to play with, and that isn't always possible. Sure, the single player adventure mode is fun, but it wears off after a few hours. If you are in a situation where you will have people over very often, go with Brawl, otherwise I would recommend Mass Effect. The story was quite compelling, and the next two are due out soon (Mass Effect is part one of a trilogy-in-progress).

MASS EFFECT.

The first DLC quest just came out, and it was a lot of fun.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

I would always take a multiplayer game over a singleplayer game if you know you'll have people to play with. I've been playing Smash Brothers for almost a decade, and it's still fun to me.

Uhg. I hate how anime-y they made Samus look.

I prefer the more realistic Samus from the first Metroid Prime.

The Samus is exactly the same looking as it is in Prime?

Also, here's a comparison:

Mass Effect: Fun for a couple days
Brawl: Fun for years

Plus Brawl has CRAPLOADS of stuff to unlock and do in single player.

1. 41 Events
2. 150 songs
3. ~20 stages
4. Custom stages
5. Stickers
6. More than 500 trophies
7. Boss Battles
8. The usual Multi-man, target test, and home-run contest
9. SSE
10. Much tougher CPU's than Melee.

As a matter of fact, unlocking EVERYTHING will take you longer than Mass Effect.

Throw in wifi multiplayer and you've got yourself a game.

For a story mode in a fighting game, it's pretty nice, and you can play it coop. The only thing I hated was the stuff at the end. Tabuu was dumb, Sonic was just thrown in there, and that maze was total bull****.

Well, the votes have been tallied, and I got SSB:B. I decided to also buy Mass Effect next week and rent Lost Odyssey sometime (I do trust your opinion, Mr. fishstickz, but I just am not too fond of combat jrpg style, it really, really brings the games I've played down).

Anyways, 27% completed already. I'll post my code in the other thread when I get home..
