Primary selection: Link
Secondaries: Toon Link, Zelda/Sheik, Kirby, and Meta Knight

I want to play Ganondorf, despite him being slow and bulky. But I havn't unlocked him yet.

Also, I only got to play Toon Link at a friends so far, havn't unlocked him yet personally.

Link, Samus, Mario sit near the top of my list. I haven't unlocked everyone yet so I'm sure it will change as I play more of the characters and get used to them.

Side note: In SSE after clearing a stage I still have a handful (5) that still have the little flashing explosions on them. Does this just mean I missed some of the treasure in the zone? Sadly the manual has a terrible explanation of SSE mode.

Haven't played the game yet, but from what I hear sonic is a speedy devil. I like speed, don't need power hits if you never get hit yourself.

I pretty much play as Link and Snake exclusively. Sonic is damn good once you get the hang of him.

Metaknight.

He has a distinct lack of quick smash moves, and he sucks at range, but he can seriously mess someone up incredibly fast.

Or pikachu. It's like hit hit hit pika! win.

Samus is my main, ROB is rapidly becoming my new favorite, and Snake is a popular alternate.

But I really like to play as almost everybody.

I've always been a Link-whore. For backups I use Zelda (primarily in Sheik form though), Samus, and Pit.

Oddly enough, I seem to be stuck in the single player right now. I'm at the Great Maze and I don't see any markings on the map that I haven't visited, yet there's no apparent place for me to go, it's really weird... I may just be completely stupid and missing something obvious...

yep like a hugeass door in the middle of the maze you need to go through

I've only used Mario through all three games. I was dismayed to find that he's slower/clunkier and has a huge recovery time after rolls in Brawl though :( My playing style from the original games of bait-and-rolling is starting to become obsolete bah.

I might have to learn a new character. Probably Fox.

i played some brawl over at a friends place, we only unlocked a couple people but when i was playing i enjoyed meta knight quite a bit. kirby was good too.

Kirby has been my favorite throughout the series.

I am starting to like Snake though. Lucario too.

Primary: Samus and Zero Suit Samus

Its quite nice to be able to switch between speed and heavy weight character, both are quite nice, tho samus herself got toned down a bit from her melee days, the incursion of Zero Suit Samus is quite nice though.
Echoman: If I can create energy from stupidity, the world's power supply will never end...
