I was looking around and since I got the Orange Box, I was without HL2: Deathmatch. Should I get this off of STEAM? only 10 bucks.
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...

Maybe not the best ten dollars.

I don't really enjoy it as much as e.g. TF2. But it's kind of fun if you know some of the other people playing, I suppose.

Well TF2 costs a hell of a lot more then ten dollars.

HL2DM really really sucks. There are 20 other legacy MPFPS you could buy on steam that don't suck.

It's stupid they are charging for this in the first place. Essentially paying more for the multiplayer aspect of a game.

HL2: DM isn't anything special but I had fun. It's great when it comes to team deathmatch on custom maps. There are insane custom maps out there.

I agree with Echoman. If you're looking to spend $10 that's not a bad place to spend it.

You can get it for free practically with out trying.

When you consider that the Orange Box is $50 for 5 games, you could argue that TF2 does in fact cost $10. You can also buy TF2 separately for $20.
