Saint Patrick's Day

Anyone doing anything for it tomorrow? I know it was technically moved to the 15th this year, but most people don't seem to realize that.

My favorite local Irish pub is having all day music, so myself and a decent sized group of people (10-15, probably closer to 15) are going from 4 PM to 2 AM. There will be lots of green beer, Guinness, and table-banging involved.

This is far and away my favorite holiday.

Last night my friend and I just drank at my house and had some Guinness. That's pretty much a weekly thing, though, so the real celebration is going to be tomorrow. Looking forward to drinking on a Monday, really going to break up the week.

Not so looking forward to the Tuesday, but that's life.

It didn't have anything to do with St Patricks days since nobody gives a damn, it was just coincidence.

Friday, got tanked at a house party.

Saturday, almost got tanked at a bar. I was pressured onto the dance floor. Hilarity did insue.

The traditional St. Patrick's day is two days before my senior research paper is due, and I don't have it half written yet. There's no ****ing way. I shouldn't even have gone out last night, but at least I had the good sense not to get wasted.

Tonight my friends are going to Gaelic Storm while I sit in the library. :gbk:

The Irish are dogs and I spent the day sitting at home quietly, eating food that isn't disgusting and praising my Protestant God, thanking Him for not making me Irish.

Friday night I drank more whiskey than I should've, but nothing for St Patty's Day in particular. Since I don't have classes on Tuesday, will have to find someplace to go drinking.

Also, it wasn't my fault. I was tending bar and Jeff kept giving me Jaeger shots.
