Do you sit with your left hand on your keyboard at "home row" while right hand is on the mouse?

... at WASD while right hand is on the mouse?

... off the keyboard grabbing your swimsuit place while creepy uncle Larry videotapes?

I find that I sit with my left hand on WASD until I have to start typing and then immediately move back to "home row" until the task is completed. It's weird.

Is that because it's more comfortable or out of some habit? I would assume your results might differ because of the physical structure of your arms.

Depends. If I'm slouching lazily side ways from the screen and my feet are up on the window silt my left's usually resting on either my stomach or armchair.

If I'm sitting facing towards the screen, its either over the WASD or I'm picking my nose.

My hand is on WASD if it is on the keyboard. If not there then my hand is usually under my chin.

On the laptop it's usually off the keyboard, at work on my PC (desktop) it's usually on WASD.

I use the mouse with my left hand, and my right hand is usually off the keyboard....but I voted for no-no place! It falls pretty close to there anyway.

usually like Kirby's... around the shift+tab, ctrl+tab, alt+tab, alt+f4, window+d, tab, f5, esc region.

It's habit because I spend all of my time in adobe programs (particularly editing) and those keys change what my mouse is doing. I like quick access to ctrl+z.

Sometimes it's homerow, though. Depends on what I've been doing a lot of: Typing or editing.

WASD. I actually never learned to properly type, so the default position for my left hand is WASD, rather than home row. My right hand just kind of hovers around the right half of the keyboard in no particular position, though usually the pinky is on enter and my thumb is on the space bar.

not usually on the keyboard, so resting on my knee or something (I tend to sit with my left foot up on my chair with the knee at shoulder height and my right foot underneath me). when on the keyboard, it'll be on home row

Normally a home row-ish spot. I use a lot of the keyboard shortcuts if Firefox and pretty much everything, so I keep my hand nearby.

I usually just use the mouse unless im typing. So my hand is resting off the keyboard, Or on WASD because i play way to many FPSs.

My left hand moves around a bit.
Sometimes it's sitting on my lap, sometimes it's a chin-holder, sometimes it's behind me on the chair (the chair is backless) and so on

Mouse in one hand, shuffling, twirling, cutting a deck of cards or stack of poker chips in the other. Cards/chips in left hand if I'm using the mouse, right hand if I can get by with using just the keyboard.

I have busy hands.
