and from 1 GB of ram to 4 GB.. is probably the highest equivalent to sex I can imagine.

WoW, at max resolution with all of the goodies on, in the middle of Shattrath while recording a Fraps = 40 FPS.

Portal, at max resolution and all of the goodies on = consistent 60 fps (yes it's limited).

I want to cry. It's so much teh betterz!

Most settings on high, 1260x1028 resolution, no lag but in combat scenes. Good enough for me :D.

I know how you feel, I made a leap from a AMD Barton 2500+, 2gb ram, 9800 Pro to a C2Duo E6750, 2gb DDR800, 8800GT... I expected it to be faster, but WOW.... Computer building days are good right now.

i went from a PIII 1GHZ 768MB RAM Radeon 9000 to x2 64 4200+ 2GB RAM x1600pro... my god man! i love the near zero lag in MP. i always used to blame it on the connection (or canada).

I went from a celeron 433 with a 16 meg AGP card and 256 megs of ram and a 6 gig HDD, to a nice AMD 4800+ 256 meg PCI-E (x1950 pro) and 2 gigs of ram with a 320 gig HDD
