I enjoy a combination of tomato soup with cheese crackers. Usually let them soak in the soup for a bit and then eat them a bit soggy.

Gimme buttered bread over crackers for soup purposes any day.
And, if it's the right kind of soup, toast.
Some soups though, should be eaten without any of the above, like chicken.
