Alright so every year my friend's host a huge halloween party at their house, last year everyone did zombies and it was awesome, but zombies are easy. This year, everyone that lives in the house (all 8 of us) are going to be TF2(Team Fortress 2 for those outside the loop) classes. I know there are 9 classes, none of us happen to know a big black guy to play the demo man sadly. Anyways, I've been given the Sniper class. I'm looking into clothes and such, but the gun i haven't a clue what it is, if its at all realistic. I mean I know its modified for the GAME but is it based off of a real gun that I could find a model of and perhaps modify myself to look the same?

Any info on either of his guns would be appreciated, as well as any aussie speech tips.

As far as I can tell, the Machete looks like either a Ka-Bar or a Kukri
Pics:

Granted the one in TF2 has a wooden handle... hm, anyone have a good screenshot of the weapons? Google isnt much help.

As far as the rifle I'd say a scout rifle with an oversized scope would probably be pretty close.

The kukri for sure. I say get an air rifle and put the biggest, cheapest scope on it you can find.

Who?

edit:

Also, a scout rifle doesn't seem to match the gun well enough. Notice the difference in barrel length with most of the matches on google 'scout rifle' VS

Hmm, I'm trying to get the effective, yet cheap method here. I'm likely going to spend a couple hundred bucks on this thing (yes, its going to be THAT detailed... if you can't tell since im starting over 6 months before i need it.) but want to try to cut corners wherever I can to save a dollar.

edit: thanks for the link, I will PM him/her!

wait they put an airsoft m1 carbine under "sniper rifles"

anyway this one looks close enough to the sniper's rifle... get a set of cheap scope rings and build the scope using coke cans and such
eat right, exercise, die anyway
