It was working the other day then today when playing a game it started lagging hard. I went to see what processes were running and I pressed ctrl-alt-del and nothing happened. Ive tried it several time and still nothing. Can someone help?

Some brilliant game designers [jedi academy comes to mind] hook things like the windows key and alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del so they won't disrupt gameplay. I know this in part because i've had to hard-reset my computer because ja sometimes lags so much in the introduction and menu screens that it's utterly unuseable and i can't ctrl-alt-del or tab out of it.

If youre running xp i know that ctrl-shift-esc brings up the task manager as well, you may try that, i don't know if it works in other versions.

if you can wait, you can hit tab, and then type quit, it's annoyingly slow though

You click "Task Manager" and nothing happens? Is your computer running very slowly?

Put a magnet on your hard drive. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

(Just kidding.)

Make sure there's not something wrong with your keyboard. Try using CTRL and ALT with other functions to see if they work. And check out DEL, too.

That sounds like a hardware problem. Check your keyboard on another computer.
