basicly, what are the accents that you realy like.

I like southern US accents (as in, the accent that most people describe as a southern one), as there is just something about them that is so cool.

Also, canadian accents, as on TV shows, they are a welcome change from the near constant smattering of american (read: californian or new york depending on where the tv show is produced) accents that are on the TV. (most australian tv shows are annoying soap operas that I would never watch).

By Canadian, what shows are you watching? I'm guessing you're referring to a more east coast-like accent, since I still can't distinguish the way I talk from many Americans on TV. There could be a difference I'm not noticing, though.

Personally, I'm a fan of Irish accents. They're just so pleasing to the ear.

The majority Canadian accent is identical to the midwestern/californian accent, except with raised vowels. (Which is why Americans hear us say 'aboot' when we say 'about' and why Canadians hear Americans say 'hurrrrrffffgggghh *drool*' when they say 'roof').

My favorite accent is probably Indian, just because it's so hilarious. My second favorite is Japanese because their language and ours are so incompatible that the result is crippling.
Legitimately, however, the best accent is my own because I'm great.

The slightly upper-class English accent, when spoken by women. Such as Keeley Hawes or Jennifer Hale when she was playing Naomi Campbell the first time around (why, God?! Why did you remove her accent from TTS?!)

I love the Canadian accent, as well as the upper-class British accent.

Funny you say that, because a friend of mine (southern) said I sound like a Canadian. That he saw on TV.

Southern New Hampshire-ites sound like NYC/NJ kids. Northern ones generally sound like Canadians/Wisconsinites

Irish and Scottish are two of my favorites.

As someone who grew up next door, I think the Michigan accent is one of my most hated ("It's going to cost $500 dah-lers to fix my ruff").

I'm not sure if this makes me a bad person, but I kind of like southern accents. Not hick or hillbilly, just you know, southern.

Also, Brit/Scot/Irish accents are nice too.

And whatever accent Kingsley Shacklebolt has.

I hate asian accents though.

English spoken by Swedes. Swedish by Swedes is kind of irritating but I'm totally going to pronounce airport like "aerport" from now on. So cute.

I only just got around to seeing Fargo, and I gotta say that even though most of the actors are taking the piss, Canadians have hilariously entertaining accents.

God, the accents in Fargo irritated me to no end, eh? *shudder* Although it's set in America, not Canada. Northern border to be fair, so I guess it's close enough.
