NHL Playoffs 2008 thread

I've put this off for too long. i love hockey, and just now i heard the Ottawa Senators are out of the playoffs. pittsburgh was too much i guess. so if montreal wins tommorow against the bruins, it's a Penguins vs Canadians 1/4 finale.

Sharks are dissapointing me. nabokov isn't to be trusted. good thing the sharks are ****ing huge. Calgary still has kiprussof, i think it helps.

Devils are also being lazy. i'm hoping they lose, but the NY rangers are good, this year, they've laid off the ''we're all stars, let's play sloppy'' attitude..

that's what i've followed so far through the reports and tv replays. i haven't been able to catch -one- game so far, but i plan to see at least one of the penguins vs canadians game at a pub. tradition y'know?

thoughts? who are you rooting for?

Detroit. They had a few mishaps this year (Lost to the Blues a few times...wtf?) but I hope they'd win. If not, the Rangers. They've been keeping their act together for the most part

yea, man, that game was intense. Boston had control of the first period, but sucked afterwards.

Even though my team lost it was a pretty fun game to watch. That hip check was good too.

hah

well. looks like we tore one victory from the flyers. I was following it on the radio at work so i didn't see any of the plays, but i heard it was a mighty fine game with lots of action.

maybe we'll see third round? who knows.. i know i'm glad i could keep my playoffs beard for the second round. I'll be very sad to shave, it'll mean we didn't make it to round 3..
