Driver survives.

http://jalopnik.com/381006/acura-nsx-ripped-to-shreds-in-horrific-street-racing-accident-driver-survives

Im not really sure what to say. I mean its good he was wearing his seatbelt, but man with that kind of damage he wasnt exactly the safest driver. That said, even a good driver could probably wreck that bad. Given the circumstances though, I'm going to assume there was a fair amount of recklessness involved.

That doesnt make this any less impressive. I mean the ferrari (if i recall correctly) was torn into 2 pieces. This is like 4, and the steering column is out.

Oooh. I thought I heard something like this on local news. What the hell did he hit to do that??
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I think the sick thing is that douchebags like that put other people in danger by racing on public roads. What if he had hit another car carrying children going that fast?
2008-04-17, 8:28 PM #14
Missed cue by about 5 hours.

Oh I should probably mention that I'm one of those people who go ridiculously fast on the freeway (90+). I don't usually do highway speeds on main roads but damn if I don't gun it on I-5.

I can't wait to get the Scion tC and put a turbocharger in it.

Wow. Picking up on a spelling error the third time was excessive, but four?

Here: "Que, Que, Que."

That should keep you entertained for hours.

The guy on the news said the front of the car, including the engine, was ripped off the front and is laying in the road. Go check that car again...there better not be a motor in the front. maybe that's why he crashed...his car was put together backwards

Yes. Harping about something like a spelling error after two people have pointed it out already, is annoying and unnecessary.

By the way what are infractions, and what do they do?
2008-04-19, 4:43 PM #33
Infractions have associated point values. If you accumulate enough points, you get an automatic ban. The more points you have, the longer the ban is.
2008-04-19, 4:51 PM #34
I am very confused, Obi calls us out on a spelling error, gets shown that he was wrong... but then says he wasn't calling us out?

The point is, you called it a spelling error when in fact it is a grammatical error.

Dang, I have one, and it's from you Ag. :( 0 points though, is that b/c it's expired?
2008-04-20, 11:52 PM #38
I don't remember, might have just been a warning.
2008-04-21, 12:01 AM #39
It was for a nonsense thread, I'm not concerned about that, I was just curious about the 0 points, and if that's what the point value goes to once the infraction has expired.
2008-04-21, 12:22 AM #40
Holy crap guys. I read the 'que' at the top of the thread and said "I wonder if anyone called him on that." Massassi.

That doesn't even look like a car crash: It looks like scraps from a car compactor. I hate people that drive over the speed limit in excess. (Read: JG)
