So the Georgians say that the Russians shot down one of their UAVs. The video from the UAV is pretty sweet:

"Flowers and a landscape were the only attractions here. And so, as there was no good reason for coming, nobody came."

I like how they show Flankers when showing what a MiG-29 "looks like."

I was thinking about that too. Maybe in a future Call of Duty they will either let you disable the enemy's UAV or to put your team's UAV up.

For a brief second, I thought the Russians shot down a spy UAC over the state of Georgia. That would take alot of guts to fly over to the States just to be a dick.

It's certainly possible. Battlefield 2 allowed you to shoot down enemy UAVs.

[edit]That was a badass video.

How does a crappy little country like Georgia afford unmanned spy planes?

They show a picture of the spy plane so people can see what the Russians might have shot down. For all we really know, the Georgian "spy plane" could just be a camcorder stuffed in a cardboard shoe box and lifted in the air by a red balloon.

As I heard it, the Georgian UAV and the possibly armed jet that I cannot confirm nor deny may or may not have been Russian in origin were both in someone else's air space.
