anyone else found thier pay-cheque significantly lighter this month, £40 in my case, very annoyed, why oh why are the poor expected to pick up the bill for running the country? i want my 10p back :(

If I converted my paycheck to pounds, it would definitely feel lighter.

Yeah, 00-something was May 2, and I fell in the May 9th category. Since Bush bumped it up by a week, I get mine on May 2nd (apparently).

If you've filed your 2007 return on time the latest you'll get it is 16 May, if you qualify. Don't know why you'd be pissed at getting "free" money in any event.
