I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas and I'm wondering if there are any games any of you recommend? It doesn't matter about genre. I'm just looking for something...different.

Fight Night Round 3 is different and a lot of fun, especially with friends (and drinking).

I also own GRAW 2, Assassin's Creed, PGR3, and Kameo (last 2 came with the system) but don't really enjoy them. Assassin's Creed was fine for a while, but there's no replay value at all, better off just renting it or something.

Owning a 360 and not owning Gears of War is like owning a car without doors. Sure, you can drive it, but you're a jeep-hippy and we hate you.

I'm not an XBox owner, but I immediately noticed the lack of games with "Halo" in their title.

I tried Halo 3...and I didn't really like it. Please, don't hurt me!

(I don't care for it either.)

Also, you NEED to get Bioshock unless you can play it on PC.

Ugh, I tried Bioshock on one of our high end machines at school. I hated it. Very much prefer playing on the 360. Everything just feels more fluid there.

Were you playing it in HD? It would certainly run faster in 640x480 than whatever crazy resolution you were using on your PC.

If you don't get GTA4 you fail.

I doubt I'm allowed to get those...maybe Call of Duty 4, but I doubt GTA IV.
