I suppose the internet browsing is nice, but if you're only interested in it as a media/storage device, you can get an 80GB Zune for $250.

You can't use Zune to store anything other than media.

I bought a 16 gig a few weeks ago. Seriously, after jailbreaking, it's so much more awesome.

If I wanted a portable hard drive I'd go buy an enclosure.

Yeah, theres no way I'd pay such a huge amount for the novelty of a touch screen.

If I wanted a portable hard drive I'd just use my portable hard drive.

I have a touch. Using it right now, as a matter of fact. I love it because I can use the Internet when I'm out on assistnments in the summer when we're staying in hotels without having to lug a laptop around.

Touch is way useful for internet, though.

Yeah, I want some kind of small device for web browsing, so I've researched them pretty thoroughly. They all cost more than the Touch.

I am aware of this, I was just making a reference to the fact that I own a dedicated portable hard drive for storage of whatever I can possibly want to store.

No kidding. Now if they'd just get support for flash and a few other things in there, like a keychain for passwords, it'd be even better.
