It's boring and looks too much like a stock CMS theme. It's a sound layout, just boring. The first thing I think of when I see it are those placeholder sites that go in place of for-sale domains.

1) Big mistake choosing .us as part of your site's domain, as normal people will just type nerdcentral.com
2) With that layout it seems kind of pointless to have a whole domain devoted to it, just get a WordPress blog.
3) Your search box input block and "Search" button don't line up.

No, you may not use Massassi as a way of advertising and Google bombing your site.

Oh, and let's not forget all the content is copied off of websites found on google.
