This movie really surprised me. While I'm a fan of Mann's The Insider, I wasn't convinced that Foxx could pull off a drama well, I was proved wrong by this movie. I also wasn't fully convinced Cruise could play a villain, but in this movie he's ruthless, and the interaction between Foxx and him is great. Truly a surprise in all the summer movie fuddle.

I just saw that movie, and let me tell you, it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Like TimeWolf said, Jamie Fox and Tom Cruise did a really good job of playing their roles, especially Tom Cruise. There even was a tad bit of humor mixed in with it as well. I think everyone should see this movie, you won't be Disappointed...

I can see Tom Cruise as a villain. That movie looks badass.

Well-written, well-directed. Acting was superb. The ending is a bit predictable (if you're not there to just watch a movie), but still a great movie.

I thought the part up to and including the Chinaclub was amazing. Finally, some action where the killer puts an acceptable amount of lead into his adversaries, keeping them from "coming back 2 minutes later and shooting him." Everything after the Chinaclub was kinda bad. Cha-cha-cha-chinaclub.
