Am I the only one who thinks this is a little overblown/sensationalist?

"Piculas said he then got a call from the supervisor of teachers, saying he'd been accused of wizardry." Ok.... but then read what Piculas has to say:

""I get a call the middle of the day from head of supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue, you can't take any more assignments you need to come in right away,'" he said."

He never mentions that the "head of supervisor" mentioned wizardry...

"Piculas said he did not know of any other accusations that would have led to the action." ... as if there could have been some other, non-wizard-related cause. :P

i had a teacher way back when who had rigged up a little gadget to make it look like he shot a fireball from his fingertips... he used it when we read the hobbit while talking about gandalf

he was never accused of wizardry

He had a magnet as we would later learn, he was awesome.

Levitation tricks are done with slight of hand and perspective.

Magnet plus sleeve is NOT a magic trick.

Why? BECAUSE IT'S VERY OBVIOUS. It defeats the purpose of an illusion.

Can you imagine if he was fired for wizardry after using magnets. It'd be so much better. Simply impressing a kid with something they hadn't seen before would be enough to get accused of wizardry etc.
