Obviously, it's that time of year again. Finals, exams, last minute work.

For my 3D work I require sounds. Ambient sounds, common effects (explosions, missiles etc). Does anyone know a good free resource for this? Must be entirely legal and free!

Well, you could always blow stuff up and record it.

This wouldn't be legal though. Or free.

The weapon equip sound from JK is used in Outcast. It was probably done by a third party studio.

Found a few rocket sounds off the freesounds project.

Having trouble finding an low ambient tune or something. I want some vague noise in the background but nothing you could recognise. Just something to fill the silence, white noise or whatever :)

Turn on a tv to static (or radio), record, reduce volume, ????, profit.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I've found enough sound effects, anyone got any good suggestions for a soundtrack for my work?

It's basically a dog fight between ladybirds and bumblebees. (The ladybirds are humanised and "tech savvy", while the bumblebees are wild and evil!)

I don't want to use any cliche's like flight of the valkerees :o
