It's a GUN THREAD
2008-05-13, 11:11 PM #1
Inspired by JLee's thread where timewolf said he was scared to know so many massassians have guns. In this thread, post pictures of you shooting your guns!

We went shooting our rifles and shotguns last week, had a lot of fun.

I don't own any guns... I've only shot them at the local range (pistols and shotguns only).

The second picture is our target after a 3-shot competition at 50 feet. My friend has the shots in the black (center). I have the shots that suck. :( It wasn't a good day for me. My shooting is very inconsistent in that I have good days and bad days.

My pistol shooting is horrible and my rifle shooting is not much better. I have very little experience...but it's fun as hell!

I've never shot a rifle, given that the range is indoors and 50 feet MAX. I'd like to try sometime.

Can you mail guns?

To a licensed dealer, yes. There are other circumstances (C&R FFL holder), but typically a dealer has to receive the shipment.

I haven't shot a gun in over 5 years.

But we found the really high powered dart gun that is for elephants today in my closet, and plan to go over-bread rabbit hunting sometime soon.

We don't have pictures from last time I went (which is too bad, lava lamps look *awesome* when hit by AK-47 fire) but that time the list included AK-47, Thompson A1 (aka, tommy gun), Schmitt-Reuben K-31, 1911, a 9mm pistol, 22 rifle, and a scoped hinge-action rifle that shot a rather odd caliber (don't remember offhand).

Don't have pictures of the last time I went either. I just bought a Ruger 10/22 and haven't taken a picture of it yet, so I'll post a generic one from the web. So here are my three guns. A Remington 870 Express Magnum, a Smith & Wesson M&P40, and a Ruger 10/22.

also if the firearm's reciever was made before 1899 it can be shipped to anyone who meets tha age requirement as it qualifies as an antique

this includes things like finnish mosins which may have been built any time from the 20s into the late 60s/early 70s provided the reciever it was built on is dated from 1891-1898 (note all finnish mosins are built on russian made recievers)

also while C&R eligibility is partially based on those whole 50 years before the current year antique status has been pre-1899 since 1968 so don't expect that to change any time soon

back to the topic at hand... no pics of me shooting them but there are pics of my collection

He's saying that in addition to the golden AK, he has the Golden Drugnov.

guns are cool.

IN GAMES.

your country's constitution allows for any man the right to bear arms.
And when do you ever challenge this right.
For that reason i have NOoooo sympathy when some high school jackass goes postal. :suicide:

yeah, now *THAT* was tact.

I'll post a pic of the gun that interests me most in terms of mechanics and design:

An overgrown supersoaker that happens to be a highly effective killing device, sure.

No it doesn't.

I tried to attach a picture of me shooting a super secret Jew gun but I am too dumb to do it.

On my last qualification, I didn't miss; 72 shots on target...one on the whistle, so I scored 35/36 and 36/36 - timed course, ranges from 3yd to 25yd.

So, I suppose it works just fine... :P

i'd guess for aiming straight ahead he uses one eye then if someone pops up trying to shoot him way off to the side he uses the other eye to aim without having to turn his head :p
