Venture Bros and, sometimes, Metalocalypse, are the only real reasons I care about Adult Swim anymore. Especially now that Futurama is no longer running and Family Guy/ American Dad pisses me off.

I liked the episode. But I can see anyone new to the series will get utterly lost when watching the third season.

My favorite episodes has to be Return to the House of the Mummies, Why Does the Caged Bird Kill and the one with the drugged-up Scooby-Doo gang. Alot of them are great, although sometimes it takes a trip to Wikipedia to understand some of the things they are referring to.

The episode had some high points, but they were very few.

I kind of thought we were done with The Monarch.

The show is more about Dr. Venture and the Monarch than it is about the boys.

That's been a theory since the first season.

I think this The Monarch-only special episode is a way to tie lose ends with him. I hope the show moves away from him, even I like him as a character, he got alot of attention pretty much in the first 2 seasons. The episode explains several questions.

From the unfinished cut of the opening episode of the third season they aired awhile back, it seems that Henry Killingger (sp?) has returned and occupies a more pivotal role. Yay..?
