I know this technology is not 'new', but its definately becoming more and more refined. I wonder how many years, decades, (hopefully not) centuries it will take for this technology to replace bullets.

Would a mirror work on a laser like that? I mean I understand its light, but isnt it radiation as well? I don't fully understand the laser concepts beyond the kind of lasers used for reading discs ect ect.

A mirror would work against a laser about as well as a piece of rubber helps against a cannonball

Mirrors work on lasers, but the laser still generates heat. A laser that powerful would melt a normal glass mirror.

...that's a good thing. The killing is gonna happen one way or another. I'd rather have a method that minimizes collateral damage.
