Anyone else having this issue?

Works fine in software mode.

It slowly gets worse over time..

My laptop's NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M time to time rearranges JK's textures ingame and put wrong MATs on things.

But seriously, I can't expect newer cards to play such an old game correctly.

Of course you can. JK is using directx, there's no reason it shouldn't 'just work'.

True, but if I'm not mistaken DirectX is supposed to be completely backwards compatible.

It's supposed to be. If the driver does not support directx 7, it is an error. You have every right to expect the vendor to supply proper drivers.

JK uses DirectX 5.
