So cool!

I want to learn how he saturated the film the way he did (I'm assuming post-production, but I know nothing), I love the colors/contrast. Very retro.

It's an oscilloscope. The hard drive speakers were pretty sweet.

There are wave generators but you're probably thinking of an oscilloscope, which is a measuring tool.

Actually, now that I think about it, many oscilloscopes can probably generate sample output.
