Grr, can't watch now. Excited about this movie though, just watched Casino Royale the other day because my girlfriend hadn't seen it yet.

[edit]Just watched it, really pumped for it now. Apparently there's a video game in the works, probably the first movie tie-in game in a long time that I've been interested in (the last was probably Goldeneye). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_of_Solace:_The_Video_Game

Why not post the ACTUAL link instead of a dumb quicktime proprietary playlist? http://pdl.stream.aol.com/aol/us/moviefone/movies/2008/quantumofsolace_026922/tefam_trlr_01_1080p_dl.mov

I don't know if this is a bad encoding or what, but it plays like a slideshow in MPlayer (error decoding most of the frames) and plays even worse in Quicktime (slideshow with audio cutting out). Pentium 1s can play full screen video, so wtf. Maybe someone needs to encode it to XviD or something.

The low res flash version plays fine.

Can't say too much for the title. its like some guy said "Humm, what are two big confusing words I can think of..... Quantum..... Solace.... Yes, that should be the title!"

Though, the movie looks good :)

I heard in an interview that the title could reflect somewhat upon what Bond is feeling just after Casino Royale, which is when Quantum of Solace is based.

It was hinted at that Bond had fallen in love with Vesper in Royale, something he doesn't do and that Quantum of Solace, which (in easy english) means small amount of solace, is about how Bond goes about taking revenge on those responsible for taking that away from him, he's one bit of Solace in an another otherwise screwed up life.

From what I understand, "Quantum" is the new name for "SMERSH", since the Soviets are no longer a world power.
