that's because it is from a camera pointed at a tv :) I can't take screenshots with my pc, no matter what I try :(

media player classic... pause movie file->save image (you'll have to resize the image to proper aspect ratio since it captures the image directly from the disc 853x480 for anamorphic widescreen discs 640x480 for 4:3 and non-anamorphic discs)

vlc has a capture function too you can set it to a hotkey
