Although I saw them a while ago, they never get old. The one with Vader on the fire background is the best.

The Second and Third posters are the best in my opinion.

I still say that having half of vader's helmet superimposed on half of hayden's face with a nice blend between them would look awesome for the central image, and having other smaller images around them (In classic sw poster style) would be great.

Such a thing would be quite easy in photoshop.

I think they ALL suck... But the third one sucks the least, followed by the first.

The old skool ones DEFINATELY look much better IMO. But those new ones... gah... They just look BAD to me. Like, not-pleasing-to-the-eye bad. Man... I can't really describe it, they just look bad to me. I can't pin-point WHY though...

these aren't official... why does the last one say 'revenge of the jedi'... or is it not 'revenge of the sith'?

That's because its the original poster for "Return of The Jedi". They ended up changing the name midway through production.

The poster is official.

It's an old movie poster for Return of the Jedi, which was originally named "Revenge of the Jedi."

I like the third one the best. The first one is too cartoony, and I believe it is the design for the box of the toys. The second one is decent. The third one just looks cool.

I think they all look nice, but none of them are suitable OFFICIAL posters. If I had to choose which one to use as an official poster for RotS, it would be the second one.

SOme of them are all right, but the box art better kick *** , I don't want to see all these posters squeezed onto the front of the DVD case..[coughmatrixrevelationscough]

Vader's helmet was actually heavily influenced, Lucas tells us, by Samurai armour.

Old skool is better, but Vader in front of flames is hard core.

The ESB posters are horrible. They should be burned.

I dunno if anyone here realises it or not, but they are SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE THAT. You DO realise that Episode 3 is a link backwards in time to the 70's style.. Stop criticizing

Ok. Try looking at it this way.

The design of those posters compared to the old ones is similar. However, the style of the images is completely off. Where I sit, that makes them look very bad. I just had another good explaination rise in my head, but I'm having trouble explaining it right now...
