Looks interesting. I wonder about that aiming feature, since lights guns aren't compatible with TVs other than CRT (I believe, at least not projection).

Depends on how the light gun works. Many of them work fine with anything. Camera-based light guns will work, whether they look at the screen or infrared indicators like the wii-remote does. The old ones that flash the screen work fine too.

My bad, I guess it's higher end sets with higher refresh rates that tend to be incompatible with typical light guns. That explains why a game given to me doesn't work with my set, but it also states on the package that it isn't rear projection compatible. I don't remember about plasma or LCD.

Okay that really does look like a lightsaber. Nice thing is that it's coming out for the PC and PS3 too.

Some of them work by turning the screen solid white for a single frame when you pull the trigger. If the refresh rate breaks it, it's a software problem.
