Tug of War... let's see how this goes.

Here's the rope. The circles at each end represent a knot, and the vertical lines simulate the pit of doom. If the knot crosses the vertical line, that team loses.

A player can enter the game whenever they wish. Each player can tug once per team's turn. Each team's turn lasts until the other team starts pulling. It'll take a quick, coordinated team effort to win.

Example game, where the x's represent players. Here's the start:

Three players on the right side then pull (one for each post):

So basically no person can pull twice unless someone from the other team pulls.
