Though they're fairly repetitive and predictable, I was relieved to see that at least most of them lacked poor writing/grammatical errors/stupidity.

Though I think the petition, the site, and the issue in general is stupid, I see where they're coming from -- they don't want a big corporation to take a stance on an issue just as, for instance, certain companies didn't want to side with blu-ray or HDDVD at first and "sway" the prominence of either.

This is also hilarious (or sad) in that the result of everyone saying they're not gonna "throw their money" at McDonald's is that the individual franchise owners are gonna be hurt more than the corporation. And the franchise owners probably have nothing to do with the whole issue.

I sort of want to see ALL the major fast food corporations (Burger King, Wendy's mainly) that they're threatening to defect to get behind the same "pro gay lulz" agenda and then see their reaction. It would be the perfect way to fight obesity in America.

McDonald's is gross. I don't see how anyone eats there.

Because it's fast, relatively cheap, and has children addicted world-wide.

Oh gross. Now that McDonald's supports gays I guess I'm going to have to stop patronizing homosexuals.

Eh? I think that was the point. I thought it was really funny, I actually 'lol'ed for the first time in ages.

Yes, saying one thing that means two completely opposite things is a pretty fundemental 'block' of humour. Actually, I'm fairly surprised to see such British humour coming from Wookie. (Assuming it was a joke, or else I'm sure to look the fool! Or maybe unintentional humour is funnier)

Haha, Burger King is already a corporate partner with the NGLCC (which is what the boycott promoters are pissed about). I guess their boycott has already failed.

I hope they all sent their enraged e-mails from Mac computers, since IBM and Intel are corporate partners with the NGLCC too. In fact, considering the number of corporate partners the NGLCC has, those people probably should never leave their homes again, for fear of support the HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA.

They should avoid the internet too, since they probably used Cisco hardware and AT&T interconnects to register their dissatisfaction with how gay their clogged arteries are.

Why is it that religious fundamentalists worldwide, regardless of which religion they adhere to, universally reject the philosophies and lessons they claim to follow?

Because hypocrisy has always been an integral part of religion.

actualy, something I noticed when I visited the US was that mcdonalds over there tends to be far more greasey than the mcdonalds in Australia.

So, people in other countries have less reason to hate eating it as the food tends to have more food content than it does grease.

Depends on how much cash I have with me. $3 at McDonalds is a feast. :omg:
2008-07-23, 5:06 AM #38
Mainly in the United States. McDonalds offers much more reasonable serving sizes in the rest of the world. The largest fries here, for example, is roughly around the same size as a small in the US.

Next thing you know they're introducing special gay people food, such as the 9 Inch Pounder, or the McChickless.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.
