Im sure everyones pleased to know im still alive asking questions about editing and stuff.:carl: -(oh hell no!)

But one question, how do i change the the file exstensiion in a zip file? (eg. .zip to .pk3). i try just clicking on rename and doing it but it doesnt work.:psyduck:

My Computer -> Tools (the menu) -> Folder Options -> View (the tab) -> uncheck "Hide extentions for known file types" -> Apply to all folders (the button)

Now try.

Open it in winrar and recompress as a different type?

Also: people still use winzip?

This is what you need to do.
Seriously. This answers your question. Now, you should see the file extension at the end. You can now change it by renaming.

Alternatively, download Pakscape and let it change your zips to pk3s.
