I have high hopes, but watching this I can't help but think it's going to be a drama without all the artsy CGI of space, and no battles or anything that will truly connect to a "Battlestar Galactica" universe. At least not until the cylons are fully developed. It's going to be hard for this show to break through like BSG has without the artistic battles.

As for 'breaking through', BSG has half a season left and it's over. This one has probably an entire season to ride on it's coat tails before it has to sell itself.
