For us carnivores, what's your favourite meat.

The polls just the more common meats I guess. :tfti:

[If you care to go into proper specifics just click the one for the correct animal. :D]
nope.

1) Chicken
2) Proper beef
3) Ham
4) Turkey
5) Whatever

But the ultimate answer is bacon, which is so precious that I only allow myself to eat max. 100 cm^2 of it per month because such divine delicacy should not be given away to anyone.

Mmm... gourmet burgers with 2 giant beef steaks, goat cheese and bacon... and salt on top. Highlight of my month, really.

Hmm, if an admin could add in a generic fish option because I'm an idiot, that would be nice.

Bacon, but Beef is in a close second. We need to start breeding cows with pig flesh. Maybe not all of the cow, but the tasty part, right under the rib cage. Mmm... Beacown.

Oh well, Beef is still my favorite.

Pork, the most versatile of meats. Too bad its reputation has been sullied by being considered a poor person's food.

venison is definitely the best. But as for meats that are actually readily available, nothing beats a nice blue steak.

After thinking about it some more, I wish I'd chosen pork. It really is the tastiest of the bunch.

Never had venison, but for me nothing beats a really good filet mignon, medium rare. Chicken is my favorite for cooking though because it's very versatile and hard to screw up. Salmon sashimi is a favorite as well.

I agree. The bacon totally ruins it.

But really, who cooks fish with the heads still on? I can understand storing them that way, but not actually cooking.

What's wrong with cooking with the heads on? You could take it off when it comes to the plate after cooking.

Strange, breezing over the poll I don't think you added fish. Much less the option for stargazy pie.

After the rise of massive factory farming in the mid-20th century, beef became affordable for all, and advertisers took advantage of this. This is why pork and lamb became second-class meats and offal is all but not eaten.
