Pop-up blockers

Firefox comes built in with one, but lately (within the past year I guess) websites and ads have found ways to put scrolling popups on the page and popups that simply get past the blocker. Is there a better one I can download that will absolutely not accept any popups that I don't click?

Get the Adblock Plus extension for Firefox. When you install it, pick a "subscription list" to keep the list of ads up to date, and then forget it exists. Magically all the ads, including popups, will disappear. It's pretty comprehensive, I only stumble upon a new popup once a month or so, and a new ad maybe a couple times a week.

Why use Opera when Firefox does it better and faster, and more :P

Because after putting firefox and opera through the porn test, guess who came out with no malware after 2 month of no cleaning?

Defenitely not firefox. :psyduck:

I don't know what you mean by "faster". Opera runs just as fast as any other browser on my PC.

Neither, because it has little to do with browsers and everything to do with what you download.
