Question for the radio talk show listeners

Um...any good radio talk shows out there, political or otherwise that I can download the mp3 for? For the past two years I've been listening to Glenn Beck and I just recently canceled my subscription to his site. Yeah, I agree with him in most things fundamentally, but I was starting to turn into a conspiracy nut listening to him and I just couldn't take his erroneous picking apart of the study of case law in law school or calling evolution a socialist machine anymore. Or basically everything being a socialist conspiracy. I got what I could from him and now it's time to move on.

I have been listening to the Dennis Miller radio show for the last month and it is a breath of fresh air, but I was wondering if anyone else has any good radio shows out there they listen to, especially if they are moderate-slanted political shows. Even if they're not political, let me know.

btw, don't bother recommending Limbaugh or Hannity, tried them, don't like them. Hannity needs to take a nap and Limbaugh is boring.

People actually listen to the radio?

Listening to radio talk shows saved my sanity while I was in Iraq and I've continued to listen to talk shows while playing games that don't need sound, like WoW.

Bill Maher starts up again this month. You can subscribe to the podcast though iTunes or Zune, I'm pretty sure. It's not radio, but you don't need to see 95% of what's on the show since it's mostly people talking.

I like leo laporte's radio show, and as far as talk shows go You Look Nice Today and TWiT are up there among my favorites. Just started listening to YLNT and it's effing genius.

I wish Jason Calacanis still did his podcast--it was interesting.

NPR has a lot of shows available for download.

I listen to Coast to Coast occasionally for the lulz, and sometimes NPR.

He goes off on rants sometimes, which is part of his shtick. He is very intelligent, though, and his show is free to download or stream unlike most of the others. If you can find a free way to listen to Glenn Beck I would recommend him as well.

Not political at all, but Ricky Gervais' series of podcasts were hilarious. The first twelve or so were available for free, but now you have to pay. There might be a mirror for the free ones somewhere though.

If you look up at my first post, Glenn Beck is the reason I'm looking for someone else to listen to. I can't stand him anymore.

Sorry, I skimmed past it I guess, or the by name comments at the end distracted me. Reviewing it, I partially disagree with your assesment but that's okay. Still, check out Levin. Great value, it's free. But listen to more than just a couple shows. Really, in my experience, listening to some of these people is like a relationship. For example, I understand bits of humor in Limbaugh shows that someone else wouldn't because I have listened to him for several, several years.

His earlier stuff was golden. However, I think Bill is following like John & Ken and playing into the sensationalism. Nowadays, KFI seems like it's playing the same ol' stuff.

I miss John Ziegler. :(
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.
