no, he was the first to stretch his drop cloth and sell it as "Art"

stuff like that has been around forever, just everyone knew it was ****e before.

Well, to be honest, if a piece of art is generating a reaction from the viewer, even if its pure disgust, then it's successful in some way. Although I don't like works of art that is purely for controversial sake, same goes for any form of media.

He's controversial in the art community because many think his work sucks while others think it's worth more than their very lives.

Found it my freshman year in my english book and knew I had to go homw and scan it. Its the ONLY copy I have ever seen of it. I want it so bad I've gone to real art dealers and they have no clue about it. It doesn't even list it in his works list on several websites.
