This week Toys R Us is offering all their 360 games for buy one get one half off.

If you're looking for mature titles though, you'll have to ask where they are. Toys R Us doesn't put them on the floor with other games.

Oh yeah, what games should I get? I'm thinking Eternal Sonata and that other rpg...

Yup, I was looking for Ninja Gaiden 2 (went there yesterday for this very reason) and couldn't find it. Turns out they had all M-rated titles in the case behind the counter turned sideways so you couldn't see the covers even, lol.

Yeah, Toys R Us completely drops the ball on everything video game related, but it's still a decent sale if you want to get some newer, $60 titles.

Sweet, does this include new releases? Too Human comes out tomorrow.

Pretty sure it applies to everything, with the only restriction being the obvious "equal or lesser value" part.

Of course.

Well this might be good, there's a few games I want out there but couldn't really afford? Does Toys'r'us take back old games? (Worste off I can just bring older games back to EBgames)

Is Ninja Gaiden 2 fun? I really liked the original. Other games I'd love to get my hands on are Overlord, Conan, CoD4, Eternal Sonata.

I like it. It seems like it's more of the same, but improved, which is generally what you want in a sequel. I'm only on level 3 right now, so I've obviously not put too much time into it, but I'm liking it so far.

I wonder, would this deal work with preorders? (Can T'R'US do preorders?)

i try to avoid the local toys r us for 2 reasons

1. incompetent employees
2. the place is like the monkey cage at the zoo

i just price match elsewhere when there's a sale i actually give a crap about

I agree. For a toy store for kids, the Toys R Us nearby is a sad, shady place that smells funny and looks unclean. The employees seem they don't give a rat's *** about keeping the place tidy, the store appears to unable to afford lighting to properly light the place and the general condition of the products is very questionable. I swear, Wal Mart probably has higher standards than the typical Toys R Us branch.

Its similar for the Toys'R'Us out here. Its odd too because I remember it appeared to me as a glorious white castle of toys when I was a kid.

If I remember correctly, Toys R Us is bleeding money. Besides a few select stores, such as the one in New York City, the company appears to let the branches just rot. And rot they will.

Reminds me of CompUSA but with toys.

I probably hadn't been to a Toys R Us in 10 years until I went yesterday to cash in on this deal, and yes, the state of the store definitely looked very crappy. This was the Toys R Us located in the wealthiest, nicest area of the city too. It reminded me of what the last K-Mart store I went to looked like.

That's because Toys R Us blows. The only reason to go there is because they have the best selection.

Just so you all know, the sale is also available on their website. Looks like the sale doesn't apply to preorders, though.
