..and this showed up:

What is this? Did I miss something?

It has a bunch of usernames from Massassi on here

Agora sim, as coisas estavam a aquecer!

It's an essay in Portuguese. The first part is saying that they found our names interesting

EDIT: Google Translate says it's about some kind of project for some kind of competition? Anyways, it seems very old and the guy was probably just writing about online community and how he felt about it.

So somebody is using their association with us here at Massassi on a resume? Doesn't strike me as the best way to win over employers.
Life is beautiful.

I misread it at first :P Seems to be just a paper written by a former massassian writing in Portuguese and participating in some kind of competition Massassi had a long time ago.

I demand a translation.

I used Google Translator for the introduction.

Quote:
Summary: This portfolio has helped to strengthen my integration into a community that has long respected: a community of "War of the Stars." With the challenge that I proposed not only wanted to take the rubro my competitive capabilities, but also be able to produce a final result that was considered attractive in terms of quality, by the other pairs. (According to the rules the participants were also the judges, so the winner in that way would be to get a great recognition for the work.)

So I guess it's a former Massassian that went to some college in Portugal, and wrote an essay about his experience in a Massassian competition a long time ago.

I started on my level five minutes ago. Suckers“ (Freelancer) ou “This sounds awesome, count me in” (Dark__Knight), começavam agora a dizer “...or if there is more than one level.” For what its worth, I'm pulling out of the contest.” I was really hoping the contest wouldn't be a bust.” (Dark__Knight).

lol? Sounds like something to do with MLP3.

Its for the SP level contest, but I can't figure out what the essay is for. I speak spanish, not portuguese, so there are some things I can't quite figure out. But I'm still not able to really figure out why he's posting this as some grand experience he had in an essay.
Life is beautiful.

The tone of it suggests a teacher assigning him a "pick a time where you had to compete" thing.
2008-08-21, 9:17 PM #15
I was also going to guess the MLP's as soon as I read it in english.

I guess we get around eh?

It's the single player level contest. He actually gives a link to the thread. Of course, he picks the one where I talked big and then failed. :P If the google translation is coming through somewhat accurately, I think the guy is making fun of me.

This was the competition after my MP competition on the hub.

Before then. Sadriss or whatever talks a lot of **** for never completing anything. ****er.

wow, i got quoted in there! doesnt sound good though... i dont understand Portuguese but i imagine it is saying i used a lame excuse to bow out of the compitition...

Quote:

Darth_Alran disse: “i was hoping to get my level done in time but i ended up getting married and going on a honeymoon and whatnot... i want to still finish the level seeing as how i have already put probably about between 20 and 25 collective hours into it. i will just submit it as a seperate level when (read "if") i finish it.”

yeah dont know what that first paragraph says...

I don't have the time to do it right now, but couldn't you just find the names of everyone who submitted to the contest, then remove the ones that are listed here? Would probably reveal the author, or narrow it down at least.
2008-08-25, 10:16 AM #34
you'd have to write down the names of everyone who INTENDED to submit.
