F.E.A.R. or Timeshift? Anyone here played both (on 360)?

I played the Timeshift demo last night and really liked it, but most reviewers gave F.E.A.R. a much better score.

FEAR is much better. Timeshift seemed like a big waste of time after any extended period of time.

However, you could just get timeshift and play FEAR online, since that's really the whole fun of the game. SP is worlds different, but just not nearly as fun as some other SP you've played, like HL2EP2.

Save yourself some time and money and get neither. There's a breadth of great games for the 360, and both those titles underwhelm.

F.E.A.R. was pretty when it came out, but after we got over the lighting effects, the game is fairly ugly level design-wise. But shooting people in the game still has some punch to it. Bodies feel "meaty," so the bland environments will help you appreciate the shooting.

I haven't tried Timeshift but from what I've heard the time manipulating aspect is pretty much a gimmick. A gimmick as opposed to a good gameplay feature because, people say, it doesn't really use it to any real potential.

I'm open to suggestions. The last game I bought was Battlefield: Bad Company, which got great reviews, but I couldn't play it for more than 10 minutes without getting bored. I'm hoping to sell it and get a game that I actually will enjoy...

If Bad Company bored you 10-minutes in, I can't help thinking FEAR and Timeshift will bore you to death.

F.E.A.R looks ridiculously bad on 360 compared to the pc version.
You can't judge a book by it's file size
