honestly, the purpose of this thread was to help out the students here that don't want open office like me and want to save a few bucks. i find open office bloated and difficult to use, i prefer MS office highly over open office because of the features that MS has standardized with its Offices. I really don't like open office and I'm betting others don't either.

If I ever used Office on my personal laptop in a situation where I couldn't just fire it up on my work laptop, then I'd buy that in a heartbeat (cause apparently my alumni email address works).

I prefer Open Office highly over MS office because of the excessive price that MS has standardized with its Offices.
