yes, but i'm talking about Castle Crashers which came out today, which is like old school Golden Axe and Streets of Rage but in the style of Alien Hominid.

I just played the trial version. It is basically golden axe. (This is a good thing)

But; I know I've seen this art style somewhere before. Does this artist have a webcomic?

He does stuff on Newgrounds. It's the same guy that made Alien Hominid.

I saw it on there and downloaded the demo, When the 15 minutes of the demo were up I dug out my PS2 and played it on there for awhile. I'd forgotten how much fun that game is.

Not to derail the thread, but yes, yes it is. I missed this title since I didn't have a playstation and even 10 years later, I'm totally loving it. I just beat the doppleganger.

Ya I hear you. I didn't like the fact I had to buy 1000 points to get a 800 points game. There's just not that many games on there I want to make up for the extra points.

Castle Crashers = meh.

N+ is where it's at on XBox Live Arcade. Best party game since Mashed.

I already have 800 points left over from getting 2000 to buy braid. Which means if I get another 1000 to buy castle crashers, I will be left holding 600 points. What the hell am I going to do with 600 points? This is obviously a ploy by microsoft to get me to spend the left over points on worthless things like themes and avatars.

Buy another 1000 points, then get 2 800 point games/DLC? Bam, you have 0 points. (Yes I realize you have to spend more money to do this)

And honestly there aren't that many interesting games on live.

There is alot more on Live than Arcade games, themes, and avatars. I download occaisional shows that I would never buy DVDs of the entire series (such as South Park and Punk'd). The occaisional music video. Unfortunately I now have to go through the tedious process to update my licenses because Microsoft just sent me a new elite. It wouldn't be that big of a deal since a network capable is plugged into it 99.9% of the time but that will drop to 0% if I ship it to Iraq and even free themes I downloaded won't work if I'm not signed into Live.

Yeah, yeah, see; I don't buy any of that stuff. I have a 360 to play games. I buy games.

I'm actually only looking forward to a couple of the 'real games', everything good seems to be on arcade lately. This is a good thing.

BACK TO CASTLE CRASHERS

The fight with the knight or whatever that has the organ with the cannon attached, quite possibly the most annoying fight ever. Once I got him to 25% he'd run back to the organ after just one hit.

Also the fight in the industrial castle was aaaaawesome.

I shouldn't have bought it once. The MP is broken. Supposably because Microsoft allocates a certain amount of bandwidth to each game, and too many people are trying to play at once.

Well, Microsoft, if it's so popular ALLOCATE MORE BANDWIDTH. That's just GOOD BUSINESS SENSE. Or maybe stop trying to blame the consumers when you **** up, *******s. I paid for the ****ing game. I want to play the ****ing game.

(The piano knight was easy. Just juggle him and wail away.)

I remember when I was a kid, before I used to read player complaints and amateur/professional reviews online. Every game was totally awesome. Now everything sucks.

He was hard for me as the Blue Knight, but a lot easier as the Gray Knight with my friend. I just threw magic bombs in his face the whole time, which always knocked him down.

I hear there's a hidden weapon where the boss in the Industrial Castle was. I haven't looked yet, but if you go there with the Cardinal pet, you'll find it no problem.

Multiplayer still works offline. Roommates and I are having fun.
