basicly, post some unusual music choices made by resteraunts you have been to.

The japanese resteraunt I went to last friday was playing piano collections of final fantasy. I first realized it when I heard Aerith's theme. My reaction was basicly; "that music sounds a lot like the piano version of aerith's theme form FFVII, it couldnt be it, OH MY GOODNESS IT IS". I didnt recognise all the tracks that played as I realy only know the music from 7 9 and 10 realy well, but I did recognize the piano version of Suteki Da Ne that played later on. It was a very interesting choice of music (they probably had a cd made up of the slower pieces to keep the mood the same, as the battle pieces probably arent as fitting for a resteraunt).

So, has anyone else heard interesting choices of music in resteraunts?

At the restaurant I work at theres this incredibly sexist song from the 50s that comes on every couple of days or so.

It's essentially a bloke telling a woman that now she's married she shouldnt just let herself go, and make yourself look nice for your fella leaving for work in the office because theres other women there and otherwise he'll leave you.

I heard the Numa Numa song in a Chinese restaurant. It was a different version though and less technoish.

a rock club i used to go to served food in the day, and they had the south park "uncle f***er" song on every few hours.

I got rick rolled at an upscale asian restaurant once. The waiters were all snickering.

Not exactly a restaurant but one time at the dentist they were playing some R and B songs in the waiting room. One in particular was the song that went "Lemme lick you up and down til you say stop". What was amusing about this song choice was they waiting room was full of children while the song was playing. I feel sorry for any of the parents that were listening it with their children, lol.

Chinese food restaurant I usually go to had caribbean style christmas music playing, it was very odd.

A couple months ago the Starbucks I usually go to was rick rolling.

I heard a Tom Waits song at Chik-fil-a. Kind of odd.
