omg, I laughed my *** off at that trailer for the 3rd one.

The cast is just an absolute mishmash of actors/actresses who are going nowhere. That crazy guy from Prison Break, a bunch of eyecandy, and that MMA chick.

Yeah the acting in that trailer is quite amusing. The army blonde girl (is that the MMA chick you're talking about) is attractive though.

I freaking LOVE how the C&C series does over-the-top live action cutscenes, especially because they use some familiar faces. You have to wonder though - do the actors feel ashamed that their acting for a game cinematic, or is this to them just a fun little side project into a new medium? Probably both.

Yeah, probably going to get that game for the cinematics.

They're probably happy to be working. And it has Mr. Sulu!

And Tiberium Wars has Sawyer and that girl from House, too. Shame it's just not a very good game.

I'm so sick of the time travel crap with Red Alert. Having it start out with Einstein(or whatever german scientist) going back and taking out Hitler was a great set up for the series. But then they had to go do that god awful Yuri's Revenge and now they're throwing in another tired "Oh yeah, well we'll just travel back in time and undo everything thus making previous events completely irrelevant!" premise. That's about as creative and interesting as NWN2's "Rocks fall, everyone dies......?" ending. I would like to see a story line that actually makes significant progress instead of going in a perpetual cycle of time travel that goes absolutely no where.

Hey, I thought Yuri's Revenge was a really good expansion. Sure, it made for the most ridiculously long game title for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge but the mind control units were cool and still quite unique. The Soviet side was a bit nerfed without Yuri units, so I sometimes prefer old fashioned RA2 for Soviet funtimes, but Yuri's Revenge was good nonetheless.

Tiberium Wars, on the other hand, offers nothing especially unique or interesting or new. Sure it follows the 'if-it-ain't-broke-why-fix-it' model of game design, but it certainly is boring considering Generals is older and better. Especially Zero Hour, the most impressive expansion pack I've ever seen for anything ever (save perhaps for Everquest).

I do miss how FMV add a certain charm to the game. I mean, if you look at JK, I liked the story not so much because of the plot but because of the actors admittedly cheesy acting segments.
