After a little sabbatical (really failed college twice and took a break) from school ... it's lucky number three!!

So how was everyone's (maybe) first day? It's actually been about 5 years since I've actually done any school work.. so it's a bit weird. I forgot how boring classes are. One of my teachers talks all monotone and shows no emotion like ben stien it's really annoying.

I moved into my apartment. Not as big as I was thinking :( I have too much crap. Why do people have so much crap? But on a plus side I have not had internet for several years so it so nice to be able to be sitting down at home and actually use the internet. I think this is why I didn't get internet.. I spend too much time on it!

First day was alright, except that I got no sleep last night. I had ECON 301 lecture at 9:30 (Intermediate Microeconomic Theory) and my Math 222 Discussion, even though we haven't had lecture, at 1:20. Pretty chill day, tomorrow is sleepin' till 11AM :)

I got a pretty easy schedule. M-R 6:00-9:00 (usually out early) and a T R 11-12. The W 6-9 might get dropped if I can get my only passing class transferred over!

This way I have at least Fri-Sun all day to work, and anytime before 6 on Mon Wed, that's full time employment right there.

So far TR 8:30-9:50 and 4:00-5:20, W 7:00-9:50, and F 8:10-11:20. Still need to pick an elective. Classes start Thursday.
2008-09-02, 7:34 PM #7
I got this sweet Civil War elective. About the social aspects of it speeches given and documents etc and the reconstruction.

Too bad all the jobs history related suck (ie teacher is about all you can do) otherwise I'd be all set.

I'm 2 hours into my third day of the school year, and college is already killing me.

If I don't make it, send my hat to mother.

That is all.

I've found it best to not consider college like school but rather --

"Do this or you will fail and life and be miserably poor and on welfare."

Gives me proper motivation to not get lazy like highschool.

Vinny, you do know most states send you to school practicially for free even if you graduated with a 1.5 gpa. Its all based on your income.
