These are PLU/SKUs from where I work, Fry's Electronics. All of these I know by heart by now. It's actually quite funny when I start writing up a ticket for a customer, I can usually have half the cart on the quote just from memory, and the other half I can find fast enough through the search function. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] I guess I'm good with numbers.

Anyway, post your amazing memory skills.

Another fine reason I'll stay away from XP, and stick with Win2k, which has the distinction of running on the same install for over a year now. I don't think I've EVER been able to do that with any other version of Windows.

I can't think of any amazing memory skills right now. Maybe they'll come to me later.

Memorized all the passwords I've ever had... and a few digits of pi. I'm a nerd.

And the passwords are pretty hard actually... like a made-up password here that's like my current one... HJ3r5y 6 digits, random capital and lowercase letters and numbers.

As for pi... 3.14159265358979382624.... that may be a little wrong.

I only have xp corporate b/c my restore cds would not work the way they were supposed to. since dealing with compaq for support would be a long and pointless exercise (I tried and it was an utter waste of time. they knew less about the machine than i did) , I did not object when a friend offered it to me. i took it and sdidn't ask any questions.

I got burned by compaq, so i felt that it was only fair.

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow
creeps in this petty pace from day to day
to the last syllable of recorded time.
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle.
Life's but a walking sorrow, a poor player
that struts and frets his hour upon the stage
and then is heard no more. It is a tale
told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

I like to quote the latter at random intervals.

Edit: I also memorized most of the lyrics to one of an awesome Canadian rap artist's best works. You can find them here, and a legal mp3 here. A++++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I hadn't listened to LeChuck's theme from Monkey Island in a long time, but I was able to figure out how to accurately play it on a piano with all the correct chords very easily... And I think that was back when I had only begun taking piano lessons.

An account card I opened at work the day before yesterday...

I only know pi as 3.1415926 because that's how much fits on a normal calculator that doesn't have a pi button.

Errm, I know my ex girlfriend's pin number for her student account (I suppose it's a good job I dumped her and not the other way around, or I could REALLY screw her over...)

In fact, I usually don't let my friends tell me their pins, because I know I'll not forget it.

My phone-home bt chargecard number is 144 - 4161748677** - and I never use it, due to having a mobile phone...

I am absolutely diabolical at remembering numbers - someone could say at work "target today is £1052" and I'll quote it as 1025, 1205, 1502 and, if you're lucky 1052, and hopefully nothing in the 2 or 5 thousands.

I can remember a handful of important phone numbers including my mobile, my house, my girlfriend's mobile (haven't learnt her house) and my Mum's mobile (she doesn't know it herself!) Oddly enough I always remember my school's number and a couple of select mates, but by and large I'm always nosing into my phonebook.

My photographic and auditory memories are however amazing - that's why I've got a knack for revision and, in particular, languages. I can still remember little things that I saw or heard in my very, very early life.

As for my short term memory, it's really failing me. I managed to ask a girl I was chatting to online twice in a minute how she was and where she'd been that day. Not good.

i have a photographic memory. if i *see* something, i can remember it. so verbally if someone gievs me a number, if i write it down or spend a second writing the number out on figurative paper in the air i will remember it. its part of why im doing better at school. i can easily memorize like the text aroudn bold words in textbooks. even if i havent studied a definition or something, i can bs it because i can actually picture that page, and where on that page the stuff exactly was. hence why you never argue with wolvie. i remember everything. the setting the sceneary in a conversation. the background noises everything. its scary
