Probably the best television ever.

Also, it's Barack Obama's favourite show and Omar is his favourite character which is probably the single best reason why any person should be voted in as President.

Edit: Apparantly McCain thinks highly of The Wire too, so he's not as senile as he seems.

Yup, The Wire is right up there with The Sopranos and Deadwood. If you've only watched the first seasons check out the others, they're all good.

It's unbelievable how unpopular this show is in the offline world. Without a doubt the best show ever made, I've been trying to get all my friends to watch it for ages.
