So, massassi, a few days ago I sent in a job application for the role of consular assistant (office and recpetion type work) in the High Commission (read: embassy) of Singapore in Canberra, and just a few minutes ago I got a call to organize a proper interview.

So, give me some of those great massassian vibes.

The interview is in four days by the way.

Also, post your most recent/any upcomming job interview that you have had.

I would never want a job like that, but if that's your thing, GO YOU!!!

Rock that interview.

I don't do interviews. I ask employers why they think they deserve me to work for them.

My last job interview was no more than 5 minutes long, and it landed me my most enjoyable job yet!

I'm terrible with interviews. But in a few weeks I'll be going to see someone about possibly volunteering for them, so they'll be making a case for me working there as much as I will, which should be interesting.

I also got to do a little bit of interviewing before I left my last job. Just a couple of twenty minute chats to find a temp to take over from me, but the girl I chose has now landed the permanent role, so I like to think I'm a good judge of a person's ability! It also gave me a great opportunity to see what it's like on the other side of the table, so despite being told it million times before, I can finally believe that interviewers really are human and aren't out to get you!
