What realms?

Akama - http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Akama&n=Quikk

Possibly rerolling horde on Korgath (again), or atleast transferring there as alliance for the expansion, Akama has gone downhill and theres only 1 guild with Kil'Jaeden dead, and a few of us in BT lol.

Also anyone in the Lich King beta? <--Kaelik on Murmur

Can't believe this website is still going, thats crazy lol. I first came here when I was like 12 or 13 and I turn 23 in 2 days lol

Mannoroth - http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Mannoroth&n=Aliasneo

Guild's killed Kalecgos, working on Brutalus. If you're looking for a realm to transfer to, Mannoroth could be it for ya. We're one of the most active servers in the game, we have 3 KJ killing guilds, and 13 SWP guilds. It's the place to be.

WOTLK Beta - Fishstoix on Northrend (Death Knight)
Ravalyassa & Fishstickz on Murmur (Priest & Warlock for testing)

Heya ol' friend.

I play wow on sentinels :

Grimgash - 70 Orc Warrior
Nerzok - 70 Orc Shaman
Raehvin - 70 Belf Mage
Deveran - 70 Human Warrior
Moradivh - 65 Belf Warlock

Don't know if I'm going to be playing much longer (at least until WotLK) because I got me Warhammer Online and right now I'm finding it a world more fun and brutal.

2008-09-18, 11:20 AM #5
I do it with friends. If I was soloing, I'd have long cancelled my account. I've got RL friends and long-term internet friends that I play with. WoW is more of a means of hanging out together across long distances than we are playing it to play the content (blerk).

After 4+ years of the same regurgitated azerothian crap we're trying something else though.

I have a 70 hunter on Ghostlands. But there's nothing to do at 70 that's not hair-pullingly frustrating, so I cancelled a long time ago.

Had a 58 warrior (crushridge) but stopped playing a while ago. It was fun, but it started to take too much consecutive time to have any fun so I canceled.

Grew out of this place I guess, moved on. I started playing Warcraft when it came out then I just stopped hanging around here I guess. It's really the only game I play anymore - aside from NHL.

You still living in Quebec? I'm still in Ontario :( I wanna move to Alberta or Vancouver kinda.

Fish - sweet.. and I'm EST too. Hmm, I'll mention it. The guild I'm in currently is in BT, but it's basically 8-10 of us that carry the rest "not so great" players, and it's starting to get annoying. So our main tank, one of the healers and myself have been talking about rolling horde or just transferring Alliance for the expansion to create a new guild or join one. I just want off Akama lol..
We're thinking Korgath so far, I use to play horde there, it's a good server, but I hear alot of people left after Death and Taxes disbanded. I'll mention your realm to them

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Well really, it was just an evolved version of Habbo Hotel. You can have fun while just chatting with guild/friends.

And I was an awesome rogue that was always in the top three in AV, so it is always fun to drop behind enemy lines and have surprise buttsecks with someone from behind while they're trying to heal themselves.

Then I got burnt out. Like "wtf I am doing this for nothing"

EVE Online's "do nothing" is superior...mostly because it's almost automatic and you can alt-tab and surf the net through most of it.

I can see where this comes from. When I started out playing WoW at first, I thought the same as you. Around the same level range too. However, if you can manage to push through that annoyingly long grind (to you), it will open up a LOT more in the game that's a lot more fun. I know you want to get to the fun stuff right away, but that's WoW. Put the time and effort in and you're rewarded. Raiding in WoW is the most fun I've had out of any MMO's raiding to date, and in my eyes it's a well deserved treat after the grind to 70 is complete.

Also, I can tell you with total confidence that once you learn the grinding spots, and where to go specifically for quests, it's EXTREMELY easy to level. It's even quicker if you have a buddy that can power level you. But even if you don't, things can go really quickly if you know where to go. You wouldn't believe it, but it's actually possible to get from level 1-70 in about a week or so, with enough time and effort.

Another thing a lot of people think is that the grind is over at level 70.. But in my eyes it's only half way done. Depending on the route you want to go, PVP or PVE, you have to now dedicate your playtime to getting your raiding or pvp gear sets and weapons, gems, etc. There's still a lot to do after you hit 70.. The problem (at least for me) comes after you've finished getting to 70, and have all your PVE/PVP gear.

No one on Icecrown ftl.

'cept me.

My g/f and now current fiance got me into WoW last December. Most of my toons are on Icecrown. Palegrate, my only 70, is a prot warrior, and I also have a 62 warlock called Snakespark. I think the next one goes all the way down to 22.. a gnome mage named Minigrate. All alliance btw.

Havent played a whole lot lately with job hunting and now actually having to work going on. Used to be just go to class for 4 hours, 4 days a week, come home and play WoW for hours on end, do all homework last minute to skate thru and graduate college... but now I have a frickin life and cant play anymore. :psylon:

I have a level 70 Night Elf Rogue on Gorgonnash and a level 70 Human Warlock on Earthen Ring (gonna transfer him over to Gorg. soon though).

I haven't set foot in once instance since the Burning Crusade came out. Did too much raiding prior to BC, just wasn't really fun to me.

So I just PVP.

Yeps, still in ol' Frenchland, but there is a possibility that I will be moving to Alabama in the upcoming year.

I had grown out of this place at one point in the past, then somehow found my way back 'ere in 2006(ish?). Now they are stuck with me again!

All you gotta do is google "mage" and "wrath of the lich king" and you'll get your answers.

Here is the talent list for Mage's that are currently used in the Lich King beta:

The mage's Mirror Image spell, at 80, is going to be amazing. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see it nerfed before release.

I went through a trial of Eve, really expecting I'd like it. It turns out isn't absolutely not the game for me. I tried WoW afterward, liked it a lot more. Guess it's subjective.

Only way I'd play WoW regularly is if I had friends who did.

Icecrown was my first server. Had 4 60's on it before BC when I quit. Came back for BC and found all my friends transferred to Azjol so went and am currently playing there.

I played from launch to about 5 months after TBC was out. I was heavy into the 40 man raids and when TBC came out, a lot of my guild/friends stopped playing due to the lack of 40 man raids.

I had a big sword.

Edit: My toon is still floating around somewhere. Some friends renew the account every now and then to play my warrior.
