A return of sorts & Extreme sports

Hello Massassians, I have returned with a new name. Some of you may remember a member called 'Gondaggle' some time ago. I have decided to have a change of name to reflect my love of heavy music. :downs:

Anyways I would like to make this thread constructive and changing the subject I am intrested to know if anyone is into extreme sports such as skatebording, snowboarding, BMX etc. I've started looking into it because Im thinking that might take up something in Extreme sports, cause I enjoy recreational activities anyway. And if anyone does extreme sports - I'd like advice. It would be great. :downs:

I train Parkour and Freerunning, but we actively fight against the label of "Extreme Sport."

If you have any interest in Parkour, drop me a line and we can chat.

I mountain bike, hike, climb and kayak which I don't think of as extreme but mountain biking and whitewater kayaking in particular get called extreme a lot. In fact the only extreme thing really is the weather conditions you can get up mountains in winter.

This with the addition of snowboarding when it's winter. I don't consider any of these sports however, as I do it just for kicks and not competition (Snowboarding, skateboarding, kayaking, and hiking especially).

With all of these, start out slow and do easy things. My first kayak river was kind of like a canoing river (not very fast at all, not a lot of change to flip) and I had others with me to help. When I began snowboarding, I didn't pick up the free lessons offered to me, but instead just tried it on my own. Get the lessons for that. I had fun but was not nearly as good as anyone, and I only did easy courses.

I have not broken a bone in any of those activities yet, compared to some people.

You should take up extreme posting.

It's really popular around here.

By the way, I don't think anyone remembers you. You're going to have to like lay down why you left so we can be all OHHHH that guy.
